Frame Fitting & Lens Care
Learn how to adjust your child’s frames for the best fit and keep their glasses in great condition. From cleaning tips to easy adjustments, we’ll help you make sure their glasses stay comfortable and last longer.
Here are two simple tips for adjusting your child’s glasses at home:
First, give it a try
All of our frames are designed to be adjustable! You can gently bend the rubber tips at the end of the temples to help them fit better behind your child’s ears, keeping the glasses in place on their nose.
Try again if needed
We make sure each frame is balanced before shipping, but sometimes the temples might bend outward a bit. This can happen because of the shape of the prescription lenses (which can slightly flatten the frame) or if the frame was a bit snug in the case during shipping.
For everyday cleaning and light smudges, just use the cleaning cloth that comes with the case. When you order glasses from us, we recommend adding lens cleaner to your cart — it’s perfect for tackling tougher spots or when you need a deeper clean.
Quick tip: Don’t use hot water to clean your lenses, as it can cause bubbles or cracks to form.
Also, avoid tissues, paper towels, shirts, or any harsh chemicals, as they can scratch your lenses or damage the coatings on your frames.
